Kris Jenner responds to Kendall's birthday party

The Kardashians have been under fire a bit this past week. And rightly so, because two family members thought it was a particularly good idea to throw a lavish birthday party. They were then not exactly reachable for comment and kept posting away on social media. Kim even posted a number of photos with the caption: ‘Not done yet.’ Hmm, you’re kind of asking for it a bit, if you ask me.
But Kendall took it a step further: she actually rented a rooftop bar in LA and invited about a hundred friends. All without masks, by the way. Except for Jaden Smith — but his costume was that of a corona patient so yes, that fits in, right? Hopefully someone at that party told him that it’s not really an appropriate outfit.
But well, LA is of course in California and it is currently strongly advised against organizing and/or attending such events. Their advice is as follows: “Residents that gather with up to two other households, should do so only outdoors, wearing face coverings, and keeping six feet of distance the entire time.” Yes, you can read between the lines as much as you want, but it seems impossible to organize a party like Kendall's within these rules.
But well, a Jenner just does what she wants and so there was a party on Saturday night. She did hand out tickets that stated it was forbidden to post anything on social media, but people didn’t adhere to that. Notably, the one who was most present on Instagram Stories was her own sister Kylie. You have to rely on your family...
Kendall herself doesn’t want to say anything about it (yet?), but mother Kris was to the rescue. Or well, she made an attempt. At radio station SiriusXM, she was a guest with Andy Cohen and said it was all very responsible, you know. Yes, everyone had been tested beforehand and also for entry, they all had to be tested. Then it was just a matter of waiting half an hour for the results and they could go on.
“All we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing. And we’re doing that. And I think, I am very sensitive to what’s going on,” Kris also wanted to add. No, Kris: the right thing is to not throw parties with a hundred people right now. There is a pandemic going on and your country is not doing so well at the moment. For example, yesterday there were over 93,000 new cases. But well, birthdays are of course very important and all hundred people were probably also her very best friends and intimates...
