At the beginning of this year, I was happily walking with my friend through Paris. I can hardly believe that was just a few months ago, as it feels more like a few years. Mais oui oui, we were in Paris and discovered a very nice little café Merci-Merci where we had a simple but oh so delicious breakfast.

We drank a cappuccino from a glass that I immediately wanted to take home, so I politely asked the woman who was so kind to help us where I could buy it and got the answer I wanted to hear: ‘In our store right behind.’ Yes indeed, a boutique with three floors and multiple levels, so nice. On the ground floor, they had the cutest clothes, but I was going for the glass cups so I had to be upstairs. Everything, and I mean everything that was there, I wanted. In the left corner everything in linen: from curtains to blankets, tea towels, and napkins, in the right corner: plates, knives, forks, sofas, tables, lamps and of course the cups. So beautiful and so French. Unfortunately, no room in the suitcase to take everything with me, but the glasses, a way too heavy water jug, and a typical French butter dish came along. Recently I found the receipt back in my bag and there was a card attached with their website on it. I actually dare not look, afraid of even more too cute items.
