Philips Lotte toothbrush bathroom

The bathroom and I, if I could, I would live there. I spend a lot of time there. In the summer for a cold shower on a warm summer evening, in the winter to warm my feet on the underfloor heating and of course for everything in between. I have quite a few confessions.

What time do you get up?
Five days a week, my alarm goes off at 07:35. What the extra five stands for is still a question for me; I started it once and never changed it. Through bedtime on my iPhone, I diligently keep track of how many hours I can sleep. I always try to hit the eight hours, but unfortunately, this doesn't always happen.

What is the first thing you do when you get out of bed?
After snoozing five times, I grab my glasses with my left hand; with plus 3.50, I really need them to see everything clearly, and with my right hand, I grab my Nike cup. It usually sits on my nightstand filled with water. After a few big sips, I step out of bed towards my new bathroom.

How long do you spend in the bathroom?
Every morning feels like a party again; the mini bathroom has been completely renovated and is exactly how I wanted it. So for me, it's not a punishment to spend at least half an hour there every day. If I need to wash my hair, even longer; I might even hit an hour. But I must honestly say I've never timed it. So it could very well be that it's much longer.

What do you do in the bathroom that no one knows?
Talcum powder is the answer. After shaving everything that shouldn't be there (in my opinion), I immerse myself in a good layer of baby talcum powder. It's not very handy because your clothes get completely covered. So do it mainly in the evening when you can crawl into bed afterward.

If this isn't in my bathroom, I panic...
Toothpaste. Besides my 5-step skincare routine, the first thing I do is brush my teeth. I really never skip this. Especially with the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean, it's really a party. I also see it as a win-win situation. In those two minutes (or longer), the day cream can nicely absorb before I apply the second layer of cream or SPF. And in the evening, it's a nice moment to do some squats. Staring at yourself in the mirror for two minutes is also so boring, don't you think?

Bath or shower?
Shower, no doubt about it. In the bath, I'm just busy with the hot tap because before you know it, the bath is cold again. Under the shower, you rinse everything off nicely, and in the bath, you're just floating in your dirt, sorry for the bath lovers.

Shower together or alone?
Definitely alone, I need the space, and my hair can't get wet every day. My boyfriend is 196 centimeters tall, so the splashes fly around. Maybe we could try it together with a little head umbrella one time.

Coffee or tea?
Coffee. Until two years ago, you shouldn't even ask me about tea; tea is a no for me. But since ginger has come into my life, you can sometimes ask me for a nice cup of tea.

Electric or manual?
Absolutely electric. How else am I supposed to brush my wisdom teeth? With the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean I can really scrub everything thoroughly. What's really super handy is that you can connect the DiamondClean 9000 with the Sonicare app, so you receive a progress report to maintain your good brushing habits and see what you can still improve. Isn't that ideal?

By the way, it always goes with me on trips because that travel set is really so handy. And if your toothbrush runs out, you just hang your case on your iPhone charger. I can fully recommend it. Click here to discover even more.
