PLL fans: this will be your new addiction

It's becoming a bit of a trend: exciting drama series about preppy schools with beautiful people. We already saw it in Élite, Blood & Water and of course the predecessor Pretty Little Liars and then its spin-off: The Perfectionists — which only got one season. So it's clear that we as viewers are waiting for this, because it didn't matter how ridiculous PLL became... We kept watching to find out who that 863rd ‘A’ was. only to get a plot twist that there is a fifth evil twin in the series. Thank goodness Rosewood isn't real, because what a shitshow that was.
But hey, it was definitely addictive, no matter how bizarre it got. And there is a new addiction, which *drumroll* is already online NOW. Whaaaat? It's called Get Even and no, you haven't missed all the fun because it was just slyly and unnoticed put online on Netflix. It's not a Netflix Original, but a series that was broadcast on the BBC. Netflix simply saw potential in it and bought the rights. Nice, right?.
Okay, I'm going to tell the plot now and before I start I want to warn you: yes, you've heard this plot before. In different series. It seems a bit like Get Even took an aspect from each of the aforementioned series and cobbled together a completely new series. You won't hear me complain, because I've finished all those series and I was definitely ready for something new.
So, that said: Get Even is about four girls who go to school together. A case of private school including uniforms. They have nothing in common and are not friends (just like PLL started, yes), but they do have a common goal: the same enemy. That's why they start a secret society called DGM, with which they devise a plan to take revenge on this person. But it's clear that there's more going on, because this boy is found murdered and the accusing finger is pointed at DGM.
Only no one knows that these four girls are DGM. They are sure they are being set up and want to find out at all costs who the real murderer is, or are. Check out the trailer below, because it looks really good. Definitely already +1 because they used a Taylor Swift song in the background, and another +1 for the phrase ‘We’re DGM: we don’t get mad, we get even.’ Oookay, remember I said PLL got bizarre? This could very well become a PLL 2.0 And I’m lovin’ it. Did I mention it's online since today? BRB, I'm about to binge a season.
