Marco Borsato temporarily steps down due to burnout

Last year he swept the entire Kuip off its feet five times with his concerts, but now the cookie is crumbling for Marco. He announces through his concert organizer Mojo that he is taking a longer break due to burnout.

“What I do is my passion and my life, but I now realize that I am really struggling, that the energy is gone and that I am dealing with burnout. I have not fully processed the impact of everything that has happened in recent years. I need a longer time to recharge completely before I can go for it again,” Marco explains in a press release.

Last year was tumultuous for Marco and his family, and we are putting it mildly. He not only sold out De Kuip five times, but also admitted to having a brief affair with Iris Hond. The singer is not giving concerts for the time being and is also not appearing on television. We hope he will be back to his old self soon.
