Monica Geuze is participating in De Slimste Mens

If we're talking about TV shows that I would never dare to participate in, De Slimste Mens is number one. Seriously, I would rather stand on a pole for eight hours like in Expeditie Robinson. It seems so painful to me to be sitting in that Slimste Mens chair and suddenly have a complete blackout. That would definitely happen to me because of the nerves. And then suddenly I wouldn't remember the simplest math problem or I would say that Rotterdam is the capital of North Holland or something. Terrifying.

So already hats off to Monica Geuze, because she's in that infamous chair in the new season. That season starts on July 13 and is a bit different due to corona: there will be no audience present. I don't know if that makes it more relaxed or anything but the opposite. Maarten van Rossem is also absent due to the measures, which is a shame. The competition is also quite tough by the way: Jörgen Raymann and Huub Stapel are also participating. I don't think they have much trouble with nerves.

Anyway, I'm sitting in front of the TV, because I always find it a fun program. And yes, then I also join in at home with a pen and paper. Nice and safe. So Mo, I already think you're a winner. Scarier than all the competition programs combined, this.
