Nadège takes a hard swing at the Meilandjes

That the corona crisis also affects the Meiland family was already known. Due to the lockdown, it was not possible to receive guests at their Chateau Marillaux, which significantly impacts their finances as we saw in the broadcast. But now that the Meiland family no longer has to worry about guests, it affects the work of Nadège Coffinet, the housekeeper.
The Meiland family decided to terminate the contract with Nadège because they now have the freedom to manage the household themselves, which naturally saves costs. This does not sit well with Nadège, as she expresses her frustration about the family on Facebook. She claims they sent her home with the accusation that she did nothing, and that they are not at all the nice family they portray on TV. Nadège is hurt.
Martien Meiland, in turn, reacts quite astonished to Nadège's statements. He finds it regrettable that she speaks so negatively, he tells RTLBoulevard. Martien: “I can't take every employee on my back to the Netherlands or something.” Nadège does mention that the family will continue to pay her until August, but that seems to do little to ease her pain.
Meanwhile, the day had already started sadly for the Meiland family, as they had to say goodbye to Mrs. Jansen, the cat that regularly appeared in the series. I can easily imagine that there might have been calls for wine in the chateau even earlier than usual.
