Nice with the wine: recordings of Chateau Meiland continue

If there is one thing I appreciate during corona times, it is TV. And entertaining TV at that. Of course, the news is also watched, but that is usually not very good for the mood. Distraction is very welcome. And with series like Stranger Things and Riverdale currently on hold (whether they can finish this season is even uncertain) and the news that Grey’s Anatomy is significantly shortening the season due to the virus, we could use some positive TV news, right?
Well, you ask, we deliver: Chateau Meiland just keeps going. Yesss, WINE, wine, wine. In quarantine, of course. Now it was naturally a bit exciting whether filming could take place at the French château, but the approval from French and Dutch authorities has been granted. YES. And so Martien said that a small camera crew has arrived and that filming can continue.
By the way, the rules regarding the coronavirus in France are quite a bit stricter than in the Netherlands: you can only go to the supermarket with a filled-out document and no more than one person is allowed to go. You can also only sit with a maximum of one person in the car. I am very curious if we will see any of that in the series, but I actually don’t care. The Meiland family is already great, it doesn’t matter if they are in quarantine without guests. FUN.
