Nikkie de Jager talks about robbery

The year 2020 has been quite eventful for Nikkie de Jager aka NikkieTutorials so far. A blackmail that led to her ‘coming out’ — fortunately (and rightly so) she received a lot of love and support for it, but the fact remains that she could not determine her own timing. Just as that storm seemed to settle, she now has to deal with a new blow: an armed robbery at the house where she lives with her fiancé Dylan, on August 8th. And yes, they were home at that moment.

Really nightmare material, super scary of course. According to Nikkie herself, this has always been one of her worst fears, which has unfortunately now become a reality. In a video on her YouTube channel, she talks about the robbery, where she cannot give too many details due to the police investigation that is still ongoing.

The most important thing is that she is okay, and she says that herself too. Physically, Dylan and she are fine, but the shock is still quite present. And how does Nikkie deal with such intense things in her private life? With makeup of course. That has always been her therapy, she says. So also in the video below (‘enough tears, so let’s go’) there is again a special look to see. I really see her as an artist with makeup, how fun is it that you can do all that on yourself?

So another intense period for NikkieTutorials. It's impressive how she can talk openly about it and picks up the pieces each time. Truly a strong woman, let's hope that the rest of 2020 will bring her only good things.
