Ooh la la: series Toy Boy on Netflix is fun

Yesss, probably a different Friday than you're used to, and also a very different Friday than what you're probably in the mood for. At least, I would prefer to dive into the pub and celebrate the weekend, but yeah, that's obviously not happening. So Netflix it is. It's really nice and cool that Ziggo and KPN have made Film1 and more paid channels available to us for free, but I still notice that I automatically switch to Netflix.

And there is a very clear reason for that tonight, you know. And maybe for you too. There is a new series online for male lovers. Why male lovers? Well, because there are quite a few men walking around half-naked. I could really use that during this social distancing period where I encounter zero half-naked men in real life.

It's called Toy Boy, and besides the fact that there are indeed a lot of naked men in it (I can't emphasize that enough), there is actually a story behind it. Here it comes: a male stripper (hence the little clothing) from Málaga is released after seven years in prison. While waiting for his new trial, he is determined to show that his ex-lover has set him up.

So we can also expect a lot of drama, some tension, and above all, it's quite addictive. And you might have guessed it when reading Málaga, but it is indeed a Spanish series, which actually dates back to 2019. But since Spanish series do quite well on Netflix, they just throw a few more on. And I am grateful for this during these quarantine times, thanks Netflix. Very addictive.
