See see see: the new trailer for Hjem til Jul

Still a bit of the surprise of the year around this time. The Norwegian series Hjem til Jul or Home for Christmas (since Netflix no longer leaves anything in the original language). It’s about the eternal single Johanne who is completely done with all the comments on her relationship during the holidays and thus decides to do something about it. I really enjoyed the first season so much and watched it in one go (although that’s not so special for me anymore).

That the second season couldn't be far behind because I was definitely not the only fan. In fact, it was surprisingly very popular. They probably didn't expect that completely. But well, luckily, because that second season is almost here. It will be online on December 18, just in time for us to finish it before Christmas Eve.

Of course, we follow Johanne and her love life again, which hopefully goes a bit smoother this season than in the first. But that doesn’t mean there’s little drama, you know. Neighbor disputes, ex-boyfriends… Her family hasn’t really changed either: they are still very exhausting.

And as we see in the trailer, a visit to the gynecologist is also part of it. Plenty to look forward to, so set your alarm for December 18.
