SEE: the first images of the latest season of MAFS
Yesss, here come the brides. The brides of the season in 2021, who dare to participate in MAFS Australia. How many liters of fillers and botox will they have injected this season? Okay, maybe that's a bit silly, but hasn't it really gotten worse in the last few seasons? And it seems like the contestants don't know how to stop after their participation.
The first video footage is here, and I must say it gets bigger and better every year (and not just the lips), because it's already deliciously dramatic and over the top. The different brides at the train station, eagerly waiting for their new fiancés. And the men are wandering around on that same platform. Glances are exchanged, there’s running to the tram. To be honest, I don't really have a clue what's going on and especially: why?
Because I really wonder when they filmed this. It must have been after the wedding, because before that they don't know each other and it would be a bit odd if they had already filmed promo material together... Standing on that platform in your wedding dress, seeing all those men in suits wandering by and thinking: which one will be mine?
Or are we going to see this season that they have to film this trailer after the wedding? That seems hilarious to me. Especially if the couples really have no chemistry and then have to look longingly at each other. Fun fact: did you know that in season 7 Martha and Sam were used as the couple for all the promo images? Those are the man and woman who almost kiss while blindfolded. Needless to say that the passion between them wasn't there in real life, but apparently they looked the best together.
Even though each season gets more intense, heavier, and even more exaggerated, I am really looking forward to it again. Unfortunately, it will take another year before we get to see it on Videoland... But maybe I will just stream it right away. Can't. Not. WAIT. Bring on the dramaaaa.
