Stop it: Hawaii pays for your flight and hotel if you go there to ‘work from home’

Imagine this: you in a hammock on a beach in Honolulu. Meanwhile, you still have to make a few phone calls and send out emails, but you forget all that when you're enjoying that fresh poke bowl in the afternoon. The American state of Hawaii has also been hit hard by corona. The economy (which largely relies on tourism) is mostly at a standstill. CNN now reports that the American state has come up with something: working from home no longer has to be at that kitchen table, it can also be on a tropical island. That's why Hawaii is giving away plane tickets. Through the ‘Movers & Shakas’ program  you can sign up until December 15. A total of 50 lucky bastards will be chosen to work on the island for a month. Sounds too good to be true? There are some rules.
