The Great British Bake Off is coming to Netflix

It is so wonderfully cozy, programs like Heel Holland Bakt. Even funnier is that everyone secretly enjoys it. Every week it’s a spicy ratings cannon and it’s really not just the oldies who are watching it. I find it very entertaining too, although it immediately makes me incredibly hungry. Or well, just craving super sweet things. Give. Me. ALL. CAKES.

If you are a bit familiar with Heel Holland Bakt, you know that its predecessor is The Great British Bake Off. And if you have ever seen that predecessor… Well, then you know that it is honestly even more fun than our version. And if you’ve never seen it, then I have good news for you. I actually have good news for you, by the way.

Because due to the holidays, the British version is coming to Netflix. To be more specific: its specials are coming to Netflix. First up is season 3, which is entirely about Christmas. That is – as you probably know – quite a big deal over there in England. It’s officially called The Great Christmas/Festive Bake Off, but due to rights issues, Netflix had to change that a bit. All very confusing again, but we will be able to find it under The Great British Baking Show.

First of all, season 3 will be added, to make it all a bit more confusing. But hey, you won’t hear me complain: this is just going to be delicious (figuratively speaking, because I am really a disaster at baking cakes) for the TV. It will be online on December 4th and more seasons will follow. YAY.
