The snack nuts for sriracha lovers

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the foodies of online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat and what to cook. This time our chefs serve you: the sriracha snack nuts.
Are you also so fond of sriracha? For us, it really is the sauce for every moment, over every dish, on every occasion. Our all-time favorite sauce. And now there are – party! – snack nuts made from it. Super crunchy and deliciously spicy!
Sriracha = life
Not a day can we go without this sauce of sauces – based on chili peppers, vinegar, salt, and sugar – that fits everywhere and on everything. From Venezuelan arepa to a sandwich with peanut butter or a tuna salad sandwich; the Thai spicy chili sauce is simply delicious and elevates any dish or snack above itself. Even a snack (peanuts!) itself!
Crunchy nuts
We were pleasantly surprised when we found Sriracha Peanut Crunch at Jumbo. In other words: peanuts coated with sriracha. And from the new snack brand Mi-tsu-ba, which provides the Dutch snack culture with some extra spice with its Asian (rice) snacks. The snacks, ten in total, are inspired by different places and flavors from Asia; from Bangkok to Kyoto. In addition to Sriracha Peanut Crunch, there are also Red Curry Crispies and Wasabi Crunchy Peas. All palm oil-free and without the flavor enhancer MSG (also known as ve-tsin).
And, how does it taste?
Spicy! But that's also why you pull this bag from the shelf, right? Because you like a bit of heat. And it delivers. The nice sriracha flavor is also abundantly present. Additionally, it is very crunchy. The only downside: the garlic flavor that, unlike the sriracha flavor, lingers for a long time. But wash it down with a cold beer and you won't hear us complain.

A bag of Mi-tsu-ba Sriracha Peanut Crunch (125g) costs €1.89 (Jumbo).
