It exists: a tasty vino for 3 euros

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the food lovers of online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat and what to cook. This time our chefs serve you: a nice red wine for a few euros.
Actually, we have learned not to buy wines under five euros. Because if you take away all the costs for making and transporting a wine, there is hardly anything left for the production of our beloved juice. A wine costing three euros can't really be good, can it? Well, it can, as proven by Hema.
Hema has already won a Salute to Excellence Award this year. Impressive, as there were 350 wines on the tasting table during the World of Private Label International Trade Show, from retailers worldwide. The wines were judged and selected by an international jury of Masters of Wine (MW, the highest achievable international qualification in the field of wine), wine writers, sommeliers, and retail experts.
(D)elicious to the last drop
The red house wine from Hema, made in the north of Spain, came out as Best Value and Best Quality. The wine is a blend of the grapes garnacha, tempranillo, and mazuelo, a soft, breezy, and uncomplicated wine with aromas of sweet blackcurrant and blueberries. A crowd-pleaser, we would dare to say. Or, as Harold Hamersma says about this wine: “Effective and friendly cherry red. With a hint of sweetness, a handful of spices. Ripe, cheerful, and honest to the last drop.” And that for just €3!
