These are the movies and series you want to watch this weekend

This weekend I'm going to put myself in lockdown. Voluntarily. Just a quick shop at the supermarket (probably only unhealthy things) and hardly leave the couch. I've made a bucket list of all the series and movies I still want to see. And I actually guess that I'm not going to make it this weekend, there are quite a few and they are all pretty long. So it's going to be marathons this weekend. Also want to stay in your house? I got you covered. These are the movies and series you want to watch this weekend.

Free Love Paradise
Waiting until November 26 until Temptation Island? Doesn't have to be at all. Just watch this Belgian version. A number of Dutch people are also participating. You can watch it via the VMTGO app, which is a Belgian app and you will be asked for a postal code: just fill in a Belgian postal code and hoppaaaa. Just watch.

Dash & Lily
This is a new series that just came out on Netflix and it will totally get you in the Christmas spirit. The wonderful thing is: you can daydream while watching it and you don't have to think much about it. Really ideal. It also takes place in New York (even more daydreaming, winter in New York is just fairy-tale beautiful) and is deliciously cliché romantic. Heeeeerlijk.

Holidate
Again a no-think item, but this time in a movie. This one stars Emma Roberts and it will again get you in the Christmas spirit. It's deliciously cliché romantic; actually exactly the same formula as the one above, but just a bit more deliciously wrong.

The Queen’s Gambit
I've never really been a hero in chess, but this miniseries of seven episodes is also interesting for non-chess players. It is indeed about this mind sport, but it's so well put together. Quite addictive and very nice if you actually feel like using your brain after the top three.

Love On The Spectrum
Honestly, I can't recommend this series enough. It's so fun, funny, and sweet. It's a real-life series about different people on the spectrum, so with a form of autism, who are going to enter the dating circuit. It sounds a bit like it's schadenfreude, but really: they are such lovely people.
