These are the seducers of Temptation Island: Love or Leave

Almost, almost, almost. On November 26, Temptation Island is back on the air in a completely new outfit. First of all, the presenters are new and that's great, because of course, they are Monica Geuze and Kaj Gorgels. This was probably already known, but you might have missed that the couples were also already known, but here you can get to know them. By the entire new outfit, I mean that the concept has also changed. No longer is temptation central, no, all participants are now looking for true love. Or for Instagram followers. Either way, if all goes well, they are going for true love.

So of course the couples plan not to cheat, but that's not the ultimate test. The ultimate test is whether they can fall in love with someone else. Does that sound a bit strange? Then just check out the American Temptation Island, because that concept has been used there for a longer time and that version is so much more fun than ours.

Today something has been announced again, namely the singles. They are no longer called seducers, but singles. Let's get acquainted.

1. We have 30-year-old Angelo, who is a truck driver and also a stripper. This tattooed single is ready for more stability and wants to start the house-kids-pet life.

2. Next, we have 24-year-old law student Darryl. This personal trainer is ready for a more stable life and a serious relationship.

3. Then there's 28-year-old Bowy, who is a DJ and loves a party. He also wants to get a bit more serious and find a girlfriend.

4. Dennis is 25 and is mainly looking forward to the ‘adventure’. He loves Latinas and as few fillers as possible.

5. 32-year-old Lesley has been with the Defense for years and is one of the oldest singles. He is therefore looking for a mature woman who is independent.

6. This year we have two Mikes participating: one 26-year-old who works at the largest refinery in Europe and one 27-year-old who, like Lesley, is a DJ. Is it just me or are there so many DJs participating in these kinds of programs nowadays?

7. Single Yannick has lived in America and is currently studying journalism. He also earns some extra money as a model.

8. The 33-year-old Ricky from Zevenaar is a professional wakeboarder (cool), Robin from Venray is still keeping his age a secret and works in disability care, and the last of the men is Sahr (29) and he is — you’ll never guess — also a DJ. Well, that's going to be a fight over who gets to play records there on the island.

Then of course the women, because yes, they have also been announced.

1. 23-year-old Anne is a photographer and is attracted to confident types. There will surely be enough of those, I guess. 21-year-old Celine is mainly in front of the camera, as she is a model (and hostess) and loves fashion.

2. Carre (25) comes from Amsterdam and wants to become an actress. Besides DJing, a career in media is also a suspiciously popular profession among the Temptation Island participants. Not just this year, by the way.

3. Daisy comes from Italy, so this will be like a warm bath for her. She works as a hostess and promoter, so I guess she will have her words ready.

4. Liyah studies psychology and is looking forward to an adventure. Well, that is absolutely the case. And a free vacation. Win-win.

5. Evie runs her own fashion business and finds humor the most important thing in a man.

6. Then there's student Tyrah, and model (lots of models and hostesses again this season)

7. Rosanne. 31-year-old Roxanne is looking for an ‘old-fashioned man’, and I wonder if she will find that at Temptation Island...

8. Also 31 years old is Marielle, but from Amsterdam. And lastly, two more: Tahira and Sophie.

It seems clear to me: in terms of looks, this season is doing well. I am so curious how this new concept will turn out. Will it really be about love or will it just be the old-fashioned Temptation with a new name? Either way: EXCITED.
