This is how you make an Efteling Smoothie yourself

efteling smoothie

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the foodies of online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat and what to cook. This time our chefs serve you: a dream smoothie from the Efteling.

In addition to roller coasters, haunted houses, and Villa Volta, there is also quite a bit to experience in terms of food and drink at the Efteling. That is why the Efteling is now coming out with its own cookbook: the Efteling Family Cookbook, filled with recipes inspired by the park's attractions. This Dream Flight Smoothie is one of them.

Here's how to make the Dream Smoothie
(breakfast/drink for 4 people)

  1. Slice the bananas, spread them out on a plate, and place them in the freezer. Let them freeze for at least 2 hours.
  2. Toast the coconut flakes and pecans separately for a few minutes in a dry frying pan for the topping.
  3. Just before breakfast, place all the different toppings in small bowls and set them on the table.
  4. Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Place the flesh in the blender or food processor. Add the frozen banana, frozen summer or red fruit, frozen cherries, oats, and plant-based milk. Drizzle in the agave syrup.
  5. Blend the ingredients until completely smooth and divide among 4 bowls. Serve the bowls and let everyone decorate their own smoothie with the toppings.
