Coffee brewing chatter: this is everything you missed this weekend
The first lockdown light weekend is behind us. How did it go? Did we miss the hospitality industry tremendously or was a weekend on the couch with Netflix actually fine too? There's a good chance that you and I didn't do much this weekend, but that's not the case everywhere. Neuhhh, a lot happened this weekend. Grab your coffee and I'll go through it all with you.
Starting with BABIES. Yaaa, and of course Kim Feenstra's. She announced it on Instagram (of course, that's the standard place for all announcements): baby Brooklyn was born on October 16. They didn't want to know in advance whether it was a boy or a girl, so that was a surprise for them too. It turned out to be a boy. By the way, we shouldn't count on a photo: the new parents will keep him to themselves for the foreseeable future.

From babies to clashes, and a big one too: Lil Kleine seems to have kicked up a fuss. In December of last year, he was out at Rembrandt Square in Amsterdam. The reason is said to be that a man bumped into a woman at the bar, which didn't sit well with the rapper, who then enlisted two other guys to forcefully take the man to the ground. Lil Kleine's manager tried to make amends with a sum of money, or hush money, but the victim still went to the police. To be continued, of course, as the two men who allegedly assaulted him have not yet been identified. They are well captured on video, visible on AT5.
More babies: Daley Blind is becoming a father for the second time. His wife Candy-Rae Fleur is pregnant again. That's quite fast, as they became parents for the first time to son Lowen last October.
More. Babies. Yolanda Hadid has become a grandmother and the whole world should know. She shares a cute snapshot on Instagram, showing the little hand of Gigi's and Zayn's daughter. That hand is also the only thing we've seen so far (Zayn also posted a similar photo after the birth). The name is still unknown, but there is a lot of speculation online. Mailikinha, Zagi, and Zayan are genuinely mentioned as contenders. Personally, I find that quite unlikely.

Yes, yes, yes, even more — you guessed it — babies. On October 11, Jet van Nieuwkerk became a mother for the first time to son Frenkie. This was, of course, announced on Instagram with this lovely photo.
And then we wrap up with a very nice piece of news: Adele has announced her comeback. AND IT WAS ABOUT TIME. Now, it's not exactly the comeback everyone hopes for, namely in the form of new music, but it's a start: she's going to host Saturday Night Live next week. Hopefully, she'll sing a tune or two. It seems that we can expect new music in November, so maybe this is just a warm-up? It's the first time since 2016 that she's doing something in the media again. We are suffering from a huge Adele shortage, that seems clear.
