Here you go in 2020

In January, I survive by binge-watching Netflix every evening and looking forward to upcoming vacations. Apparently, I'm not the only one, because according to hotel search engine Momondo.nl, we are all happily planning our vacations together. And this year, they are not going to France and Italy. Well, I am, but these are the destinations that are most searched for.

1. Ireland

And specifically Dublin. I'm sure to share some nice spots in Dublin.

2. Great Britain

Is it because of Brexit? Because of The Crown? Is it the Meghan effect? Either way, we all want to go to Great Britain and of course, we’ll include London. Since I'm still not the worst, here are the best spots in London according to my dear Daniëlle. 

3. Czech Republic

Never been, heard a lot about it. I should really go this year. Here’s a tip from Kiki on where to be in the Czech Republic if you love parties. 

4. Iceland

Anyone want to admire the Northern Lights? Kiki made a list of the very best restaurants there. So I want to go to that Lava restaurant right now.

5. New Zealand

Not great in the category of flight shame, so you really have to stay long to make up for it. Just on the wine drip and stay there.

6. Asian resorts

Thai Phuket is still a favorite but, surprisingly, Filipino Cebu City is on the rise.

I would say: sit down and book. And if I may give a maternalistic advice: if you fly, do it with a good airline that cares for CO2 compensation or do it yourself by donating to GreenSeat, for example.
