This means your sex fantasy according to the experts

What a dream about sex with your ex means we already explained once. But what does that one fantasy about kissing a stranger, bondage, or a threesome actually mean? According to experts, almost everyone has fantasies about sex and they all have a meaning.

Important to remember in the case of a fantasy is that it's perfectly fine if it remains a fantasy. Most people do not want it to become reality at all, but are satisfied with the fantasizing itself. Research shows that sexual fantasies often involve role play, having or losing control, threesomes, and blackmail. But what do they mean? Well, it says more about your character than you might think. And another fun fact that comes from the research of writer Justin J. Lehmiller: women are much more intense and have more courage in their fantasies, while men are actually more emotional than expected.

Role play: you have a flair for drama and like to express this in the bedroom. It seems that the more open you are, the more you are open to exploring all sexual fantasies. This can be a role play, but also one of the following options.

Sex with someone of the same sex (if you don't have this in daily life): you are much more open-minded than anyone expects from you.

In public: you are not averse to a risk and like to seek it out. So it could very well be that the bungee jumper also enjoys sex in public places.

Bondage: you like to give up control because you normally always have it. Fantasies that fit into the taboo sphere, such as BDSM, are more common among people who are introverted.

Being caught: you like to be the center of everyone's attention.

The more, the merrier: people who fantasize about threesomes, group sex, or being in love with multiple people at the same time are actually very extroverted in their behavior.
