Tip tip tip: Dear Mom on Videoland

Since I can be quite impatient, I don't always mind starting a series later. Because waiting a week for an episode is really not of this time anymore (hey makers of Undercover, are you reading along?) and the selection is now so large that it's also a shame to waste time on a series that isn't really worth it.

So yes, I had already seen Lieve Mama in the Videoland collection, but I hadn't started it yet. Until I got it as a tip a few times and thought: this might be an interesting series. Especially when I heard that it's based on the book of the same name by Esther Verhoef. She is one of my favorite Dutch authors because every story of hers is quite thrilling.

So Lieve Mama. I started it and can indeed tell you that it's a nice recommendation. Good suspense, and with Rifka Lodeizen as the lead actress, you already know it's going to be good. It's also a nice series for in between: six episodes, all between 30 and 40 minutes. You can binge it in one day if you feel like it. I-de-al.

Now I hope that more of Esther Verhoef's books will be adapted into such a miniseries. Dutch series, I really didn't want to watch them before, but that time is fortunately over. I watched it in one day and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
