beer tasting cheers

As a beer lover, did I want to end the weekend with Jopenbier? Yes, OF COURSE. I've been a beer lover for quite some time, about half of my life, but only in the last few years have I discovered craft beer. And when it comes to Jopenbier, you are definitely in the right place: they have an enormous selection. It's a bit of a shame that we can't visit their brewery/bar in Haarlem right now (it's really a must-visit), but I'll make it just as cozy at home.

So with a beer tasting. Which is fun, because tasting everything, but also difficult, because tasting everything. I might end up under the table after seven beers, but luckily there are two alcohol-free options. Especially the non-IPA Ginger, because I already knew that one and it's currently my favorite among the alcohol-free beers.

So today on the menu: the blurred lines IPA and of course the Mooie Nel. I’ll give the Heavy Cross with 10 percent to my company, because they can handle it better than I can. The G&T lovers will also be happy (I count myself among them), because they also have a Disco Ginferno and besides the fact that I just love the name, it is indeed a gin & tonic IPA.

With this, I declare the Sunday afternoon drink (yes, that is a thing and maybe even more fun than the Friday afternoon drink) open. Or well, almost. It’s still a bit too early, but in about five hours I’ll be ready to go.
