I laugh a lot when I see photos of my dear Amayzine colleagues that we've been frequently sending to each other in the past weeks. While we usually go through life quite polished, the deterioration is peeking around the corner. Daan, who books her manicures a year in advance, has a nail where only the top half is painted, and I suddenly see a gray hair on myself that definitely wasn't there three weeks ago.

To keep things a bit in check, I ordered a UV lamp last week that allows you to dry your nail polish faster. I have the patience of a raging bull, so as soon as I've applied a layer of polish, I'm already folding laundry/brushing the hair of a random child/unloading the dishwasher or doing something else that immediately ruins my nails again. Hence the lamp. We polish and dry and then chew on the time.
