True crime fans pay attention: this series is going to be great

Yesss, there’s another nice little project coming to Netflix. From the mind of Ryan Murphy, so that’s not an unknown and it also means that the budget is nice and big and it’s likely to be quite spectacular. And really mega, MEGA disgusting.

Why? The new project is called Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Now I think every true crime lover has heard of this man, but if not: let me give you a little introduction. I hope you haven't just eaten or have your food in front of you, because this man is truly disgusting.

Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer who primarily targeted younger boys as victims. Often black boys, because they are less noticeable when they go missing. It's really too gross and sick: one boy managed to escape and spoke to two police officers. They. Brought. Him. Back. To. Mister. Serial. Killer. He was a black boy and Jeffrey Dahmer managed to convince the police officers that he was his friend. And homosexuality was certainly not accepted at that time.

Even worse: he didn't just kill them, he also ate them. It's really so disgusting. He ultimately got caught when police officers found a head in his freezer. Well, enough details for now I think, right? That's why I'm really curious how they are going to portray this on screen. It can only get gross.

The series will follow the period from the 1960s until his arrest in the 1990s. During that time, he committed sixteen murders. It will definitely be dark and it sounds macabre, but I'm looking forward to this. A release date has not yet been given, but I will definitely keep you updated.
