Trump really said it: “I wish her the best”

Let me start with a disclaimer. I belong to the part of the world population that does not hold the president of America in high regard. And as unfortunate as it is, Trump keeps confirming that I am right every time. He did it again, this time in a statement about Ghislaine Maxwell.
At Trump's first press conference about corona since April, which by the way seems like a long time when your country is the hardest hit in the world by a pandemic, the president was asked for his opinion on Maxwell's arrest. For clarification: the woman who is suspected of recruiting underage girls for millionaire Jeffrey Epstein. The woman who hid like a guilty shadow on an estate in New Hampshire, but ultimately was caught by the FBI. The woman who can seemingly bring down many powerful men with all the details she knows. And what does Trump say? That he wishes her the best. The best! Just to be clear: Van Dale calls this the superlative of good.
Who on earth could wish this woman the best with everything she has on her conscience? Someone who is not well-informed about the case, at least, that’s how the president of the USA makes it seem. He says he hasn’t followed it, is not aware of it, and has no idea what Prince Andrew has to do with it. But whatever is going on, Trump wishes Maxwell the best. And the rest of the world is once again dumbfounded.
