I really missed being able to wander aimlessly through a store without a goal during quarantine time. Not really needing anything but just browsing and then going home with shoes, that kind of thing. If you recognize this, then I have a tip for the weekend to make up for it. Take a trip to the shoe paradise of the country (that's Waalwijk and surroundings) to shop at the sample sale of Bronx in Kaatsheuvel, where you get 70 (!) percent off on just about everything. So you're actually just wandering around without needing anything and you can take those shoes home for almost free. I thought that just browsing would make me blissfully happy, but honestly: that discount makes it all quite heavenly.

To keep it COVID-proof, you do need to reserve a time slot on July 23, 24, 25, or 26. You can do this very easily. via this link. You can shop for sneakers for fifty, sandals for thirty-five, and cowboy boots for seventy-five. I don't know what you're going to do this weekend, but I'm going to Kaatsheuvel.
