‘We are going to France for something very exciting’

For weeks I've been looking forward to this outing: an afternoon of relaxing in the Away Spa together with the ‘Spice Girls’. This sentence needs some explanation: once, Sarah Chronis, Melody Klaver, Sigrid ten Napel, Gaite Jansen, Kiki van Deursen, Sanne Langelaar, and yours truly ran into each other at a press day of Spice PR. Everyone already knew each other and spontaneously a lunch was scheduled with all of us: since then we've had many hilarious afternoons and evenings in this composition and we call ourselves the Spice Girls. One thing: we really do chatter away. Upon arrival at the W hotel, I'm happy to see that we are the only ones in the Away Spa, because I think our chattering in a whisper is still blood irritating. Between the steam bath, swimming, and sauna visit, we are picked up one by one for a divine treatment including body scrub and massage. These Spice Girls will be back very soon.

Just a few more nights of sleep and we are leaving with six people to France under the guise of something very exciting: during the lockdown, Jon, together with two friends, wrote an amazing script. Those friends are also actors and both have an actress as a girlfriend, so the cast was quickly rounded up. In France, besides enjoying and having fun, we will rehearse and shoot a trailer in the hope that we can film the entire movie at the same location in a year. Despite the fact that the film industry has taken a big hit, it has also made us think creatively and we want to set up projects more than ever. I really hope this will be our first of many own projects. I will keep you updated.

H&M keeps surprising me every time with their cool collaborations. And despite the fact that I have a meter of cool blazers hanging in my closet, I immediately got greedy upon seeing the Guiliva Heritage x H&M collection. Classic styles, but with beautiful men's silhouettes. A huge plus: the entire collection is made from recycled wool and polyester and organic cotton. Let those business meetings come.

I hadn't been there for two years, but I have to face it again. I really can't complain after two pregnancies, but my skin has really become a lot looser and I still hold a lot of moisture. Now Bodyfix is the place to be for connective tissue massages, but recently they also have something new: lymphatic drainage. You lie in a kind of weird suit that sucks vacuum and lets your excess moisture drift away. The first treatment is done and I promise to show you before and after photos.
