Welkom terug Harvey: Suits is bijna terug op Netflix

Suits

If I had to describe my dream man, then Harvey Specter comes pretty close. When I watched the first season of Suits I was immediately hooked but also incredibly in love and suddenly wanted to become a lawyer and all that. And that I would continuously win spectacular cases just like in the series. I could already see myself going: happily building a career (and kids) with Harvey. Well, I have given up that lawyer dream but that infatuation has never completely gone away.

Although I think Suits, unfortunately, is an example of a series where the very first season remains unmatched. Those very first episodes were so good and they haven't really maintained that level. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I actually enjoyed those court cases so much, the love drama between Mike and Rachel could have been a bit less. And that's why I'm secretly looking forward to the eighth season, because that's the first one without Meghan Markle. Sorry Meghan.

And that looking forward is almost over, because on July 18 the first ten episodes of the eighth season will be on Netflix. WHUT, that's really soon and I love it. An interesting new face in this eighth season is Katherine Heigl, whom we still know from Grey’s Anatomy. A telling detail is that she was fired from this series because she had refused an Emmy nomination. She felt that the writers had not given her Emmy-worthy scripts and that the nomination was therefore unjustified. Uh-oh, trashing the creators of your own series is the dumbest thing you can do and afterwards she has hardly accomplished anything in Hollywood. Except for this role in Suits, of course. And a commercial for cat litter. Ouch.

But okay, season 8 then. July 18. It has already aired in America so you can spoil yourself by looking online, but I haven't done that for a change. So I still don't know how it ends after Mike and Rachel's wedding — but I guess not well, because Meghan has left him. With Mike initially, because they got a chance to lead a firm in Seattle. Check the trailer below. I was even happy to see Louis again. Aah, and that opening tune. Everybody wanna know how it feel, everybody wanna see what it like. Laalaaalaaa incomprehensible textttt, the greenback boogieeee.
