Why exercising too often too quickly is very dangerous

Ever heard of rhabdomyolysis? No? Well, from now on it's your best excuse to lounge on the couch.

Because exercising could be dangerous for your health. Look, I love studies like this because I adore my couch and I hate exercising with all my heart. By the way, not all sports are bad; team sports are doable. Then you have a fun goal and a nice team. But otherwise, a gym with treadmills and group classes? Thanks but no thanks. Exercising too fast and too often can be very dangerous, scientists say now. Your muscle cells can tear if you go overboard in that sweaty gym (I already gag at the thought). What happens to your body then? The contents of those torn cells enter the bloodstream, and that's not good. We're talking about enzymes like creatine kinase, electrolytes like potassium, and proteins like myoglobin. This can quickly pose a great danger to your kidneys, for example.

Especially if you haven't done anything in a while regarding exercise and movement (I'm not feeling addressed), you should take it very easy. And pay attention: if you've exercised and have muscle pain but that muscle pain just won't go away? Then something serious might be wrong with you. Especially if you can't move well and feel nauseous and have to vomit, you should see a doctor.

Moreover, there are other factors that play a role in the dangers of exercising, such as intense activity in extreme heat. But drinking too much water is also not good, nor is drinking too little. Coffee is also not great if you're going exercising and an extremely vegetarian diet is also not advisable if you want to run the marathon six times, for example. And if you still really want to exercise until you see stars? Then definitely build it up slowly and start with two weeks of gentle movement before you physically exhaust yourself. It's much better for you.

And don't forget your dear couch every now and then. Doctors say so, I can't make anything else of it.
