Why you should drink coffee after exercising

May she be laughing in a gray sweater outside

Nice, that workout, but afterwards you walk bent for three days and can't even laugh because your abdominal muscles are screaming in misery. Is there something to be done about it, you want to know? Certainly, although not everything is equally pleasant.

1. A cold shower

Nothing feels better than a warm bath after exertion, but you should actually sit in a cold bath. This narrows your blood vessels, allowing waste products to be expelled more effectively. A quick cold rinse is also fine.

2. Drink cherry juice

Or cranberry juice or berry juice. It contains a lot of antioxidants that help expel waste products immediately and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

3. Drink coffee

Did you know that drinking coffee reduces muscle soreness by 50% and allows you to train longer? Don't drink decaf, because the caffeine does the trick.

4. Move a little

Walk, bike, or swim, but keep those muscles moving.

5. Eat ginger

Ginger helps against muscle pain. Just like yogurt, salmon, turmeric,

soybeans, and foods rich in vitamin B12 (bananas, nuts, you know the list, right?).

6. Go to the sauna

You might not like that cold bath, but this sounds nice again. The warmth relaxes your muscles, perhaps the best medicine.
