Yeeheesss, Love Is Blind has been renewed for two seasons

TWO. Yes, you read that right. This. Is. SUCH. Good. News. And of course, it's somewhat to be expected, since Love Is Blind is the best show at the moment on Netflix (yes, I said it), and also pretty popular. During these corona times, I almost regret that I’ve already finished it, because it would have been really suitable for binge-watching during self-isolation. But well, we do get two new seasons.

There is, by the way, one downside to that. Sorry makers, but how can you not have Lauren and Cameron host those two new seasons? I really don’t get that at all. Instead of them, we get Nick Lachey again (‘And I’m Nick Lachey, obviously’ – eh no, buddy, you haven’t been relevant since you left Jessica Simpson) and his wife Vanessa. Missed opportunity. Because Lauren and Cameron are awesome.

That was the only downside. And I think you can still sign up if you want a shot at love. Season one was filmed in Atlanta (and they had to live together there), the second season will be filmed in Chicago. How fun would it be if Jessica just signs up again? I can totally see her doing that.

The location of the third season is not yet known, but I say… Amsterdam, maybe? And then all living together in a canal house, for example. Sounds good to me. Hopefully by then Barnett is done with Amber and he also makes an attempt. With me then. I’ve been totally into Barnett since that first season. And his dog.

That release date is, as you might have seen coming, still one big mystery. Yesterday the news of the two new seasons was announced and then the makers said they would start preparations for the season in Chicago this week. Okay, so actually the preparations for the preparations. No one has been chosen yet (which is difficult given the whole corona crisis), so that needs to happen first and then they still have to film internally for a month… Yes, this is going to take a while. But who cares, we’re getting TWO seasons. My day cannot get any better.
