Yes: the ‘corona-proof’ Big Brother house is currently being built in Amsterdam

Big Brother

Big Brother is watching you from a cabin on the heath? No way, that gigantic villa is currently being constructed on a parking lot in Amsterdam. Somewhere near the Johan Cruijff Arena, to be precise. Producer EndemolShine has just announced that the location will be ‘the most corona-proof in the Netherlands’. Why? Well, quite simple: candidates will be tested before they enter the house and from then on, contact with the outside world will be cut off. Phones will be handed in and the reality test can begin.

Starting January 4, the adventure will begin with both Dutch and Flemish candidates. The question is of course to what extent we still need daily reality (Utopia 2 had quite a hard time) but hey: we are all at home more and everything presenter Geraldine Kemper touches turns to gold lately, so for now I have high hopes.
