You can now sleep in the villa of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

sleeping in the villa of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

Sooooo this is the story all about how I slept in the Fresh Prince's villa in Bel-Air. Invited by Will Smith himself. Yesss, really. He is opening the doors of this villa, where he first stepped inside thirty years ago. THIRTY. Years. Ago. Then The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air first appeared on TV and I feel a bit old now.

Fortunately, the villa still looks brand new, both outside and inside. And that thirty-year anniversary is also the reason why you can now have a sleepover there. It doesn't cost a dime, thirty dollars to be exact. Will Smith talks about a ‘symbolic’ amount. That may be true, but I think it's a very low amount and that also means it will be fully booked in no time.

Because there are only limited dates available: October 2, 5, 8, 11, and 14. And you're not too late yet, because booking starts on September 29 at 8 PM. A case of ready-set-go and everything-is-full. But if you are lucky enough to snag a night, that thirty dollars is really worth it.

With an overnight stay, you get a new pair of Air Jordans, the chance to DJ behind Jazzy Jeff's turntables, a costume party with the outfits that The Fresh Prince was always seen in (a good throwback), a day of ultimate chilling by the pool (and that's not bad, I can tell you) and the welcome is arranged by Jazzy Jeff. Side note: that welcome is virtual, because of corona. So safety first.

And that coronavirus has already ruined enough things for us, but it's not done yet. Because only residents of America (more specifically, L.A. County) can book it. We Europeans are not allowed into the country. Thanks, corona. We'll follow it on Instagram or something.
