There are those moments when you suddenly realize how quickly time passes. I had that too when I read an interview yesterday with Merlijn Kamerling, the son of Antonie Kamerling. I still remember when Merlijn was born. As in: that Antonie and Isa had a child. I don't know the people personally, but they did come into my student room every day with GTST, let alone that I remember Antonie Kamerling stepping out of life. As if it was two years ago. But it is not. It has been ten years. His children are grown and adult and Isa is strong, powerful, and brave. She was already like that then and she has remained so. For JAN, which has been around for 15 years, she became guest editor-in-chief and is on the cover with Merlijn and daughter Vlinder. I am going to devour and cherish it, because JAN and Isa, in my opinion, is almost as beautiful a duo as Isa and Antonie were.
