10 things we thought about The Traitors

Naaaaaa, do you think it's crazy that De Verraders is already getting a second season NOW? It attracts so many viewers that RTL is going for a follow-up edition. I don't even know where to start with this madness. What a mindfuck this program is, it just crawls under your skin!
Why? Because it's an atmospheric game. The group dynamics and emotional connections between candidates make rational choices almost impossible. Behold: a format where candidates start crying because they get confused. It. Is. So. Brilliant. Conceived.
Anyway, shall we continue? I watched The Traitors and this is what I thought.
1. We start this episode with very sad news. Jörgen has been caught by the Traitors. Or as Francis casually says: ‘Ah my friend. Yes, he was never suspected, so he had to die. Yes, that sounds a bit scary now, but this was a player who could have made it to the final.’ #RIPRAYMANN
2. The Flying Adventure of Abby and the Bear Hats. Sounds like a children's book I would read.
3. Oh shit, you can just see on Diederik's face that he is a wreck. He looks really worse than a few episodes ago. How bizarre what a few days of stress does to your face. Give that man a little rest from this bizarre task!
4. OMG, Sinan is going to throw people under the bus and it freaks me out. Just this whole man in general. It gives you spontaneous anxiety. Do you think it's CRAZY that that Kazàn keeps turning so red!!!!
5. The bizarre thing is: as a viewer, you just empathize with those Traitors. They also got a really tough role and Sinan the Snake plays the game actually perfectly and yet you would rather see him go home than Diederik. Weird game.
6. Swallow. Diederik is slowly being filleted. This round table feels different. You can really see Holly and Kees biting their teeth to not get involved.
7. Francis is going to cry. She can't handle peer pressure. I love Francis.
8. Abby the bear hat is also not keeping it together, followed by Loiza who is also going coco loco in the upstairs. ‘I can't trust anyone, but I can hardly trust myself!’ My god, that whole group is now crying. Even Kees can't hold back his watery eyes anymore. What kind of game is this?
9. Francis: ‘My god, I can't take this anymore. Please let them kill me tonight because I'm going crazy.’ *Pours another glass of wine.
HAHAHA
10. Dear makers, one more point. Next week, a slightly more exciting task than doll clothes, okay? Although I understand that being buried alive was hard to beat. This was really the other extreme.
P.S.: Quote of the week:
Tijl: ‘Loek, I haven't heard you yet.’
Loek: ‘That's because I haven't had the floor yet.’
What a boss.
P.P.S.: Have we already realized that someone like Samantha is just one of the smartest in this game? This woman gets it.
P.P.P.S.: Why don't the Traitors just kill Diederik now? That would be a brilliant move. Take one for the team, Died.
Already really looking forward to next week!
