6 minutes of reading per day reduces the chance of burnout

When was the last time you read a book from cover to cover? On vacation, I have no problem reading one book every two days, but when I work, try not to neglect my friends and family, work overtime, meditate, and do a bit of sports, my book disappears.
In the past, when I still had those lovely cheeks and blonde curls, I stood at the library every Wednesday afternoon. I devoured letters. You were only allowed to borrow six per week, but when I went on vacation, I even got an upgrade from the librarian for more books. By the time I was nine, I had read almost all the allowed books in the teen section, which allowed me to borrow from the adult section with a wink. This is how I ended up being shocked at too young an age by the story of Christiane F. By the way, it was an excellent way to not dare to try drugs.
Back to reading, because it's actually good for a person to take a few minutes every day to take a few minutes. Six to be exact, research shows. Wait, whut? A person only needs six minutes with themselves and a book to clear their head. Just think about how often you waste those six minutes a bit before going back to being stressed. Honestly, I've spent six minutes sitting on a toilet to come to myself. That helps less than just grabbing a book and letting everything be.
How does it work? Six minutes of reading can reduce your stress level by a stunning 68 percent. I suspect that Netflix doesn't have this effect, even though that's also incredibly nice to do. But if you consider that one in six millennials get a burnout gets stressed and that you can prevent this by picking up a nice book after work, why on earth have we stopped reading?
Tip: there are many stories to be found online that take six minutes, but if I were you, I would just start with a nice book. Here are our 6 book tips to read six minutes a day. It's a mix of exciting, light, and actually too engaging to put down after six minutes, and they are all fresh off the press.
