Bringing sexy back: vegans have 2x as much sex

Yesss, this research comes just a few days too late. Or well, actually a month. Because if you've read this, you understand: we should have all participated in Veganuary. And we could have happily skipped Dry January (doing both seems a bit too much). Because what turns out from research is that vegans have a great sex life. Are you not vegan and do you also have a good sex life? Then still the chance is greater that vegans have it better figured out.

Because vegans seem to have a sex life that is twice as good as non-vegans. TWO. TIMES. Hallelujah. Let's lay out the hard facts, the numbers. 57 percent of vegans say they have sex four times a week. The carnivores, on the other hand, said their average was two times a week. So indeed — I paid attention in math, you can tell — that's two times as much for the vegans.

In addition to that 57 percent, 92 percent indicated that their sex life is ‘great’. Among meat-eaters, that was 79 percent. Still a large majority, but still: 92 percent?! That's really bizarrely high. And also the desire and energy to dive between the sheets is significantly higher among vegans. 58 percent say they are always ready to go. The meat-eaters fare much worse: 35 percent.

This research was conducted among 500 vegans and 500 meat-eaters. The spokesperson came up with the following statement: “Vegans are masters of seduction. Our statistics do not lie: vegans generally eat a lot more foods that contain aphrodisiacs, such as anise and ginseng.”

Ahaaaa. You vegans are just the Masters of Seduction. I think I can confirm that, because I am a meat-eater and can't flirt even if my life depended on it. No idea if that's due to my eating habits, but perhaps it's worth a try? I'm going to cook vegan tonight. Eating raw anise. Googling what ginseng is and eating that too. Everything to be part of that 92 percent.,
