But HOW fun is Chantal

If we were to crown a queen of the Song Festival, it would of course be Chantal Janzen. A week ago, I wrote that it was a shame the rest of Europe didn't know how funny she is and how well she can sing; that has now been checked off the to-do list. Chantal She gave a crystal-clear version of Venus during the final and dared to throw in a joke here and there during the live show, despite the strict Song Festival protocols. But the real Chantal, of course, can be seen on her Instagram, and despite the four rehearsals a day, she certainly had time for some juicy Stories here and there.

Here are the funniest moments in a row.

The day after the first semi-final... Where the average presenter only takes a selfie with the right light and after makeup, Chantal gives this version of herself.

After being groomed for a week by Leco and frolicking in dresses worth thousands of euros (the one by Edwin Oudshoorn costs about €12,000), her stylist Kelly Huisman has neatly returned everything, the Cartier jewels have been sent back to P.C., and Chantal slipped into what ultimately is her favorite outfit: her bathrobe.

And she will be camping in that for the next few days, unless a very charming man knocks at the gate.

And yes, there she was again, beautiful, funny, and charming at BEAU with a great ponytail. I'm going to text Leco about that. How do we get such a perfect ponytail? I'll get back to that.
