Carrie's best friend passes away

En zo is Stanford er niet meer... Stanford Blatch, de grappigste, trouwste en liefste gay vriend ooit. Hier zijn een paar gouden dialogen.
Stanford: ‘How can you not have a shrink? This is Manhattan. Even the shrinks have shrinks. I have three.’ Carrie: ‘No, you don’t.’ Stanford: ‘Yes, one for when I want to be cuddled, one for when I want tough love and one for when I want to look at a beautiful man.’ Carrie: ‘That’s sick!’ Stanford: ‘Which is why I see the other two.’
Carrie: ‘Oh God, I love Sleeping Beauty! The music, the sets, the costumes! It’s so romantic!’ Stanford: ‘You only like it because she gets to sleep for a hundred years and she doesn’t age.’
‘We all judge. That’s our hobby. Some people do arts and crafts. We judge.’
Stanford was also cast for the new series SATC And Just Like That, but before this festive premiere, Stanford passed away. Apparently, he fought silently against cancer, something few were aware of. Sarah Jessica Parker has not yet responded to his loss, but the Instagram post from his son Nathan, whom he adopted when Nathan was seven years old, breaks your heart. ‘I love you so much, dad. Rest in peace. I am so glad you could share all your adventures with me and that we could achieve so much together. I am so proud of you. And I will love you forever, but I also think it’s time for your own adventure. You will always be with me.’
Willie was a beautiful person who embraced many good causes. He will be missed.
