Case of conspiracy theory: these celebs would belong to the Illuminati

I often don't believe in it at all, but I really love it: conspiracy theories. From Avril Lavigne not really being Avril Lavigne for years to Bush being behind 9/11: I can read about it for hours. And the worst part is that the longer you read about it, the more logical it all sounds. And then suddenly you're convinced that Disney's Frozen is called that because the real Walt Disney is frozen and that by naming a movie like that, it wouldn't come up at the top of Google anymore. Another conspiracy theory that I find super fascinating is the one surrounding the Illuminati. In case you're not familiar with it: the Illuminati is a secret society that was founded in 1776 by a group of students. Some people believe that this society still exists today, and that only the richest and most powerful people in the world are members. These could be world leaders like Barack Obama, but some people are convinced that certain celebs are also part of it, who are mainly known for their acting or singing careers, but also spend time on a secret society that runs the world. How cool would that be? The celebs below are said to be members.
1. Madonna
In 2014, The Queen of Pop (do people seriously still call her that?) released the song Illuminati, which of course was fodder for people who believed she was actually a member. A year later, she performed at the Grammys with the song Living For Live, and her outfits contained hints of the Illuminati, which is why people referred to her as ‘the dark witch of Illuminati.’ She claims not to be a member, but she seems to know who is. Oookay.
2. Lady Gaga
The conspiracy theory here is that Lady Gaga was a slave of the Illuminati, but that she is now free. In 2009, she was called an ‘Illuminati Puppet’ on a blog. The hints would be that she often wears horns in her costumes (just like Madonna did during her Grammy performance), and also that she is not known by her real name would hint that she is indeed a member of this mysterious club.
3. Michael Jackson
Not only is Michael Jackson said to be a member, but he is also said to have been murdered by the Illuminati. Tupac, Princess Diana, and Marilyn Monroe too. Apparently, Michael Jackson became increasingly autonomous, much to the dismay of the Illuminati, and was punished for it. And how. His son even said in court that his father was often crying and shouted: ‘They're going to kill me, they're going to kill me.’ Very grim, but my gut feeling tells me it wasn't the Illuminati.
Does this surprise you? No, not really, right? We all know that Kanye West is bipolar, but you can really see narcissism in his behavior. For years, he spoke before his big meltdown about his ego in interviews and on social media. It has a bit of Charlie Sheen quality, always calling himself the 'greatest artist to ever live.' He even compares himself to Michelangelo and Pablo Picasso. And if you see how he treats Kim Kardashian... Well, that says enough. Really narcissistic behavior. Everything revolves around him; he is the best and therefore deserves all the attention. I mean: why would you make a hologram of your wife's dead father and only have him praise you? That's just so egocentric. And anyone who contradicts that? Is a liar or wants to sabotage him. Of course, many of these actions stem from his bipolar disorder, but yes, it is really the recipe for a narcissist.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Kanye West thinks he is a member of the Illuminati himself, or if he is going to shout it out during one of his concerts. His nickname Yeezus (a combination of Yeezy and Jesus) would already suggest that, and he also has the song I Am God... Yes, the evidence keeps piling up. He also uses a lot of symbols like eyes (the all-seeing eye), and that's enough for people who are convinced he belongs to this club.
5. Taylor Swift
Hilarious: the conspiracy theorists think that the moment between Kanye and Taylor (that ‘Imma let you finish, but...’ during the award ceremony) was all planned. Right, by the Illuminati. That would be Taylor's initiation. After enduring that, she would also be a full member. Hm-hm.
6. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy
Yes, the entire Carter family is a member of the Illuminati. Even more intense: some people believe that Whitney Houston's death was a sacrifice for Blue Ivy. Eh, whut? Well, just in case you didn't realize: these people literally see hints in everything, so when Beyoncé made a diamond shape with her hands during her Super Bowl performance (the sign of the Illuminati), the followers of this theory went completely wild.
7. Paris Hilton
Well, the Hilton family is of course incredibly powerful, so if the Illuminati exists, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Hilton family member involved. Rumors say that they also conduct experiments on children from powerful families in this secret society, and that would explain why Paris was sent to such an extreme boarding school .
