People with this profession act the strangest during the Christmas party

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Or not? Christmas is coming and of course that also means the necessary Christmas drinks. At least, let’s hope that the measures are in our favor by then, because we certainly don’t want to miss that annual (and often slightly awkward) Christmas drink for anything. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk to your colleagues in a less formal setting and see how he/she behaves after a few glasses of alcohol. As long as it doesn’t get overly informal, of course. Because what turns out: there are quite a few people who get just a bit too cozy with a colleague during this drink. This is evident from a study by The Sun on Sunday, where 39 percent of the 2000 people admitted this.
To my surprise, it seems that especially bus drivers feel very attracted to their colleagues. Maybe the alcohol kicks in extra when you have to be sober for your job almost all the time? Quite a logical theory, if I say so myself. No less than 55 percent of them admitted to having done something naughty with a colleague. In second place are waiters, with 48 percent. I could see this one coming, because alcohol flows freely in the hospitality industry.
Well, that combination of drinks and coziness doesn’t always turn out well in the workplace. This is the top twelve of professions of people who cheat the most during the Christmas drink:
- Bus drivers
- Waiters
- Plumbers, delivery van drivers (very specific indeed)
- Police officers, receptionists, and managers (a bit less specific again)
- IT staff and carpenters (quite diverse)
- Store employees
- Bankers and teachers
- Accountants (I also find this to sound like a very sneaky profession)
- Secretaries
- Firefighters (well, they save lives so it’s allowed from time to time)
- Electricians and doctors (special)
- Nurses and construction workers (again, hard-working people)
