EXPEDITION ROBINSON: THE AFTERTALK

Idea: what if we, as viewers, vote for the most fun people and they then achieve the ultimate merger? Because honestly, Sunday has fun people (Yuki, René, Jan, Wietze, Britte — okay, Sunday really has a more fun group) and Thursday has a few too (Robbert, Sterrin, and JayJay for example, okay: Do too) and it annoys me that you have them alternating every time. It also completely confuses me. So idea: Sunday the club of fun people, Thursday the rest. Of course, that Thursday will be watched less, but it would make it a lot clearer for me personally and that’s worth something, right?

1. #durftevragen: when corona is gone (I can hope that will happen someday), will they just go to a tropical island instead of Croatia?

2. I really have the feeling that this season of Expedition is mainly about bizarre starvation.

3. But honestly, that Sandra looks good, man. Super tanned and completely happy.

4. And I still feel JayJay so much with that little beard. Wow, what positivity all around, huh?

5. But well, I just ate. A full meal. Very not-Robinson style.

6. Sylvana really talks non-stop like my kindergarten teacher from back in the day. In fact, like everyone’s kindergarten teacher from back in the day.

7. I would really be done with this trial within ten seconds. What a hell. Yes, a classic in Robinson history, but really: not for me.

8. Nice peek like this, in JayJay's swim trunks. Good camerawork, you know. Hell breaks loose when they do that with women, but okay.

9. I read quite a bit of criticism on the internet about Robbert, because he supposedly doesn't perform anything, but maybe I'm watching a completely different season? I think he does all the trials quite well.

10. Okay, he dodged the food dance, but he couldn't do much about that. In short, I am team #justiceforRobbert.

11. Does Rob now get a black vote or do the makers just keep alternating it per episode?

12. Consistency is not really the theme this season. It’s a season of a constant state of confusion, eight hundred thirty-two camps, and a lot of inconsistency.

13. Sorry, but Robbert has lasted the longest of all the men. Where are those sour critics now? Very quiet all of a sudden.

14. By the way, Rob's argument about age and therefore not being able to hold on is not entirely valid when you see how long Sandra has been hanging there.

15. Correction: how enormously Sandra wins that trial. BAM.

16. While being bitchy about other people, Sterrin still comes across as sweet. That’s really a gift.

17. That look at each other from Annemiek and Sterrin. Hellooooo, Mean Girls. That’s SO fetch.

18. Sorry I’m again — just actually the whole time — completely confused. Why isn’t Sandra on Winner Island? Send that girl to Jan.

19. Completely lost count. How many extra votes are there, man? And Kaj keeps pulling them out of that vase.

20. Why is no one else surprised that we have now reached vote 14?

21. It was probably done on purpose that Annemiek and Sylvana had to sit next to each other, but the former doesn’t come off very sympathetically.

22. Oookay, what’s going on that everyone is so ecstatic? Excited. For. SUNDAY.

23. Hey, could it be that Sterrin is now a mean girl that we see nothing of her friendship with JayJay? I miss that.

24. Just a thought: didn’t Rob have a black vote? Like from the previous episode? Did I completely miss that something was said about that?
