Expedition Robinson: The Aftertalk of episode 24
Seriously: that week really flies by because of Expeditie Robinson. Just when I've barely processed the episode, the next one is already around the corner. And honestly: I keep forgetting who is in which camp or who we are going to see that evening. In that respect, it's still a bit too confusing for me, because it's now episode 24 and I still don't understand anything. But okay, are we ready for it again? Yesss.
1. Living on seven and a half calories a day. That's just not okay anymore, right? Isn't there someone in this camp who's having a birthday so the production can come up with a cake?
2. That they didn't all burst into tears after discovering that eaten fish. Hello, I almost cried.
3. That Robbert too, man. So intensely emaciated.
4. Naaaah, this can't be happening. What a bunch of sadists behind the scenes. Completely starved and then doing a test where you have to haul heavy things while swimming (!).
5. Guys, send that poor Rob Geus home. He really looks utterly miserable.
6. JaJay. Earth to JayJay!! You're going the wrong way!
7. I hope they're counting the distance and that it really doesn't matter if you maybe took the left exit right away.
8. And then also do multiple rounds... Who cares if no one has a birthday, give these people cake. Now. And a BigMac.
9. Also swimming to your buoy without taking a breath to then haul it even further? What. Is. This. Game.
10. Super impressive from Annemiek, I can't do it like her, but I was actually hoping she would go out tonight.
11. That they also get a visit from a fisherman because it's just REALLY not doable. It's not cake, but it's a start.
12. Fair is fair: Rob is not a quitter, that speaks for him. He feels intensely unwell (at least, I assume so, given that he has mentioned it 89 times in this episode alone), but refuses to go home voluntarily.
13. Are you paying attention, Wietze and Dyantha? Taking notes, yes?
14. I am genuinely super happy for them that they caught such a big fish, but I really don't need to see that slaughtered beast ten times on screen.
15. I find Robbert so sweet. Plus: he seems to have almost no bad hair days there? I would have more of a hairstyle like Do, but this man just looks sharp even on day 24.
16. Okay, I guess Rob is going out. I also hope that Rob goes out and heads straight to an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
17. Britte: *brings cake for everyone, even for the presenters*
Annemiek: *shows everyone and lets them smell and keeps everything for herself*
18. Sorry, but why is it literally different every episode? Now Annemiek gets to be part of the entire voting and only then decides whether she will vote? Makers. Be consistent for two episodes in a row, it's really not that hard.
19. Why is Annemiek suddenly Little Miss Sunshine? Is she so happy that Sylvana is gone? A completely different person.
20. Who is voting for Robbert? What nonsense is this again?
21. Jesus Christ, a half heart attack here. I would have really thrown something at the TV if Robbert had gone home now.
22. I found Rob so annoying at the beginning and now I suddenly find him so sweet? Poor, skinny Rob.
23. Aaah, look: there's the Annemiek we know. That bitchy Annemiek. Just back on Sunday.
