This is the Faamnaam top 10 of 2021

Honestly: I still find schaamnaam sounds so much nicer. Sure, it might have a bit of a negative connotation, but it's often just a funny name. And I don't necessarily find those names negative. Okay, Fokje Modder might not sound ideal, but as a first name, Fokje isn't too bad, right? In fact, I’d prefer Fokje as a name, I think it's much better than what my parents gave me.

But it's always fun, those weird first name-last name combinations, so of course I was right there when the Faamnaam of 2021 was announced, just like always by Coen and Sander on Radio 538. Curious about the top 10? Here it comes. In my opinion, a well-deserved winner by the way. Congratulations Sonne. Although... Number 2 is also worth a little prize in my opinion and I can really relate to number 4. They are all just really fun again.
