I watched Jaimie Vaes: In The Vaes Lane and this is what I thought

Jaimie in the vase lane life ep6

Last week I was a little bit complaining about the depth of In The Vaes Lane and now I can hear you thinking: then you should definitely watch another program. Absolutely true. But I just expected a bit more than half an hour of watching shopping sprees. Fortunately, the preview for this week looked a lot more exciting, but was it? Yesss. Not. To. Compare. I'm completely on board and a total fan again. In fact, Jaimie: I'm coming to join you in Ibiza, you know. I love alcohol at least as much, so I think we're going to click immensely. Woohoooo.

1. And as always, shall we start again with new juice about Lil Kleine and Jaimie? Or has everything been said about it now?

2. Well, everything... Better said: has there been exactly nothing said but a lot of words wasted?

3. Look, I don't find it strange that Jaimie is seeing a coach (I think everyone benefits from it), but that she has a coach who she flies over to Ibiza. That's a bit of a difference.

4. But to be honest, aren't we all curious about what that coach really thinks? Would Jaimie be completely honest with her about what happened?

5. My suspicions say that the coach prefers to see Jaimie living as a single.

6. This is a much more sincere side of Jaimie that we've seen in the two seasons, I must say. Although I didn't expect her biggest issue to be that she's bad at saying ‘no’ to her friends.

7. Yeah, sorry: I expected a bit more juice about the relationship crisis here too.

8. Or what she really thinks about Lío living with her in Ibiza while Lil Kleine is going wild in Amsterdam. Or that he hasn't said anything about her birthday online. Those kinds of things.

9. But to stay positive: it's great to have such a coach and that she acknowledges that she needs and wants to do certain things differently.

10. And that she feels like she's finding herself again. Love this positivity.

11. Still, let's wrap up with the fact that you're really hungover. HAHA. I'm really a fragile heap of misery when I have a mega hangover, so I cry about everything. Let alone that I then have a coaching session and have to sail afterwards. Don't call me.

12. Completely confused: Jaimie is very hungover because she had a spiritual session? And why did the camera crew film her shopping twice last week but miss the moments that make her so hungover? Guys, FOCUS. Set priorities.

13. It's funny that Estelle and her daughter have such a close bond that they discuss all the ins and outs of their wild nights. That Estelle has met a new man again. You go, mom.

14. Well, last week there was so little happening, this week so much more. Coaching sessions, boat trips, and now Spanish lessons. In The Vaes Lane is ON. I can hardly keep up.

15. Well, let's not exaggerate. Jaimie with that Spanish lesson, that's really something I can't keep up with.

16. ‘I think I'll pick it up quickly: OLA.’ Oh girl, you're already completely Spanishified.

17. It's great that she's also learning to say ‘I don't want love’. Even the Spanish teacher supports #singleJaimie.

18. Oohhh. JUICY. Jaimie grabbing a Dutch gossip magazine to read the latest rumors about her relationship.

19. ‘I still read so much nonsense.’ Ehh, maybe you shouldn't take the Privé and/or the Story to Ibiza?

20. I mean, I'm not a celebrity of course, but I don't read all those magazines and I don't feel like I'm missing out on much.

21. No, I'd rather waste my precious time watching how Koen and you are shopping.

22. Okay, okay, so they're now in a gray area. Because she doesn't know if she wants to continue with him or not. That sounds logical in itself, but I don't quite understand why none of her friends gives her advice?

23. Real talk: isn't it logical that if you're a celebrity, and your relationship is in the news because one half of that relationship allegedly abused the other to the extent that they end up spending a night in jail, people will have their opinions ready if you decide to continue that relationship?

24. Personally, I don't think people are ‘stupid’ then. It would be worse if all of the Netherlands fully supported her choice.

25. But okay, enough real talk; Jaimie and her girls need to get to the alcohol. It's much more fun.

26. Even before the food is there: ‘eh, shots?’ YES. This is the language I speak too. Shooooots.

Well folks, I almost feel like the makers are just reading along every week. Because honestly: last week was just deadly boring. That really couldn't be. But this week, speaking of a comeback. Hopefully, it's not short-lived, because if I see the preview for next week... Then we're just going to do yoga and horseback riding again. But with Koen. So definitely fun.
