Because research shows that if you drink one large glass of wine, people find you more attractive. Researchers at the University of Bristol in England reported this, writes Daily Mail. This applies to both people of the opposite sex and people of the same sex. It's actually quite simple to explain: drinking a large glass causes the person in question to blush more and gain more confidence. A few sips from a small glass just don't do the trick. not quite.

Wine gives you color and boosts your confidence. But more than that one large glass is what scientists do not recommend, no matter how good those bubbles in white taste. This was evident from the majority of the forty test subjects in this interesting study. They had to judge the attractiveness of three different groups: there was a group 100 percent sober, a group slightly tipsy after that one glass, and a group quite drunk. Not very surprising, but the tipsy group was considered the most attractive, according to the test subjects. They had consumed about 250 milliliters of wine.

So let this be a wise lesson: don't think that being completely drunk makes you a bit charming. You become sluggish, slow, not funny, and above all, unattractive. So seize those opportunities for a date and drink a good glass of vino and then obediently a little red.
