Is Mr. Big actually going to appear in the Sex & the City reboot?

Come on people, wouldn't it be downright a sadistic choice by the creators? You wouldn't revive the most popular series ever without Carrie’s great love?
Page Six wrote a few days ago that SATC fans should brace themselves for a big disappointment. The 66-year-old actor Chris Noth (aka Mr. Big, what a name actually: ‘Hi, I’m Mr. Big’) is the big absentee in the show alongside Kim Cattrall. Now he responds to the rumors via social media. And he does so in a rather teasing way.
‘Well, if Page Six says that, it must be true,’ Chris responds after a fan asked him why he is no longer taking on the role of Mr. Big. But here it comes: this reply was ended with a wink. A wink. Sorry, but do you think what I think? It’s totally illogical to act so mysteriously just to ultimately disappoint the fans? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire? Hmmm. You get it: the fans have already half put up the flag and expect the news in the coming weeks that Mr. Big will still make an appearance.
Production is expected to start this spring. Missed it? The new Sex and the City series will be called ‘And Just Like That’ and revolves around the lives of 50-somethings Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte. Juicy detail: ten episodes are being made for which the ladies will all earn One. Million. Dollars. Per. Show. Holy shit.
