Katja Schuurman and Freek van Noortwijk break up

Do I still believe in love? I'm not so sure about that anymore. Because I really didn't see this coming and I honestly find it quite sad. Because how great were Katja Schuurman and Freek van Noortwijk together, and how well did they fit each other? I thought very well, but it turns out that's not the case. Katja has just announced on Instagram that she and Freek have broken up.

‘With indescribable pain in our hearts, Freek and I have had to decide not to continue as lovers. We have tried very hard to make our partnership work, but we differ more than we both hoped for a long time. Still, we are more than grateful that our paths crossed. We have experienced fantastic things together and loved each other very much. The most beautiful being the birth of our enchanting, touching, humorous, smart, beautiful Coco Loulou, who would not have been born otherwise,’ writes Katja with a photo of the two. They were married for two years.
